I have a fun job of working in college athletics at UNC Charlotte. I handle the marketing for Men's and Women's Soccer and Women's Basketball. I create marketing plans, design ads and graphics and help run social media account. I use effective communication to produce products including advertising copy, social media content and script writing. Overall, my experience in college athletics has been great and different from time spent in baseball. It has been great to work with fans, student athletes and alumni to enhance their experiences and be able to create a forever bond with the university adds a different dynamic to my job!

Hickory Crawdads
I was promoted within the organization when the Crawdads were selected to host the 2014 SAL All Star game. I was the point of contact for the event where I handled marketing strategies, communication, event logistics, staff schedules, budget, and ticket sales. Along with the All-Star game I worked to build a relationship with the City of Hickory and surrounding areas to help create and establish a brand recognition . I worked with school programs, planned outside events and attended various chamber and networking events in the community. Along with community relations, I was part of the corporate sales team where I developed relationships with new and existing accounts to help generate revenue.

Hickory Crawdads
The Hickory Crawdads are a Minor League Baseball Team, they are a Single A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. I began with the Crawdads as a Group Sales Intern after my first season, I exceeded my goals and was hired full time in the group sales office. Working in group sales I made cold calls, took inbound calls and maintained the new CRM system. I developed and qualified groups for outings that included businesses, churches, schools, youth leagues and more. I continued to create, maintain and grow relationships with group leaders including business owners, vendors and hr directors. After selling the group, I would see out all the logistics of the event to ensure their event ran smoothly. It was always rewarding to oversee groups from start to finish and know that we created a fun, family friendly environment to ensure groups would continue to come back year after year.
